This camp is a great option for older students interested in beginning or continuing their exploration of Shakespeare performance through scene work, character creation, movement exploration including Stage Combat, creative collaboration with their peers, and more! This camp offers a deeper look into monologues and scene studies and concludes with a performance on the Kentucky Shakespeare stage.

The two week sessions will focus on a specific play and the one week sessions will each have a different focus. All sessions will end in a final sharing in Central Park.

This camp will have a max capacity of 10 campers per session.

Full Day: 9am-4pm, M-F, One and Two Week Options Available

• Session 1: June 10-21 (2 Week Session) $295 (Focus on a Shakespearean Tragedy - including monologue and scene work)

• Session 2: June 24-28 (1 Week Session) $195 (Emphasis on Technical Aspects including Stage Management, Sound Design, and Scenic Painting with Shakespearean Texts. Plus - special visits from KS Summer Season Technical Staff!)

• Session 3: July 1-12 (Two Week Session) $295 (Focus on a Shakespearean Tragedy - including monologue and scene work)

• Session 4: July 15-19 (1 Week Session) $195 (Focus on contrasting monologues from tragedies and comedies, Sonnets, and sonnet creation)

Please note: There will NOT be Camp sessions on June 19th and July 4th to observe federal holidays.
